Looks like Shin-Gojira is regenerating after all in Godzilla: Resurgence!

Perhaps it will mean his arms won't be so small for the entire movie. I still think he survived the Oxygen Destroyer and it left him deformed.

We really can't base this information just off of toys. The HG's will never be as detailed as the bigger ones. Toho hasn't officially stated that he is regenerating anyway. 

I think this is more of a limitation with the Bandai Movie Monster series detail than it is an example of the monster possibly regenerating. The chest and spines are still pretty messed up. While there is a figure that looks like the monster is regenerating, this one seems to be getting "as close as we can get" to the current design we've been seeing.

True, it could just be lack of detail but I have a hunch toys may be revealing more of the film's secrets than Toho would like. I just remember the countless times toy manufacturers leaked designs for movie monsters / costumes in the past. It wouldn't surprise me if it happened again with Godzilla: Resurgence.

Is this confirmed to be regenerating? Could just be a different toy company's interpretation of the design.

Thanks for adding the photo I uploaded. 

If the toys were revealing anything about the movie, I'm sure we would be hearing of lawsuits. Besides, I'm getting ready to upload a few more images that will show differences between the toys from different companies.
