Anguirus wins, varan would do a melle atack from above but anguirus has a toufgh shell on his back

Varan may be able to move faster and glide around Anguirus, but Anguirus' bulk and tough armor means a few good hits and Varan's down. Plus, Varan just doesn't have the tools to get past that bulky and tough demeanor, because he lacks any sort of bulk himself as well as special weaponry that can bypass such defenses. Not only that, but Anguirus is much more aggressive, whilst Varan is more passive, meaning Anguirus isn't gonna back out of the fight. Not that there'd be much of one anyways :P

Pity I couldn't weigh in on the last round that was probably the closest, and most interesting fight the series has had.

For this one it's anguirus, they're both pretty weak monsters, but anguirus's defenses make him come out on top.
