I recently had a dream in which I was watching the Godzilla movie in the theater along with my sister. As the movie progressed, I noticed (when I was awake) that everything was set in the 90's, and that none of the actors tha actually played in the movie appeared.

Halfway through the movie Godzilla broke in to the theater from the screen. Sun light shone across the entire room as everyone remained completly calm, not even surprised that a 500 foot lizard stood before them. He looked like the new model except his spine was blue, sorta looked like the ice crystals in the movie Frozen (which you must see if you haven't). Then suddenly Godzilla took this womans baby and ran out frantically as headed into the city. The lady then screamed like a demented lunatic, yet even that wasn't enough to move the audience.

Then out of the blue a fat, middle aged Captain America rose from his seat and proclaimed to the lady that he will find her baby. Some more time passes, and I was starting to stir around until the fat Captain America returns on a lawnmower, empty handed. He notifies the woman that he couldn't find her baby, which in turn she began to cry. Then as if to reciprocate her, he burst out crying as well. Then all of us returned to watching the movie on the theater screen, which looked complety unaffected despite the fact Godzilla had previously broke inside from there, leaving it completly deteriorated in pieces.

Anyone else dream somthing as weird or even weirder?

Now this is trippy.

I have had a dream concerning Godzilla, in which I was running across the Golden Gate Bridge thinking, "I hope all those movies were wrong about this bridge being destroyed!" until it was destroyed and I woke up.

Deviation is not shameful. Conforming is.

I had one recently that I was watching the movie in the theater and for some reason I was the only one there. The movie wasn't even Godzilla, yet I had paid for the ticket and was in the same theater. It was a 90's style TV/movie. I have had others I just can't remember them now.

I don't think I ever had a Godzilla dream. But when I was younger, after watching a Gamera movie where he fought Gyaos, I would sometimes have a Gyaos releated nightmare. I didn't get eaten, but I think I almost did once. I remember in one dream a Gyaos was swooping in on a woman with a baby. The woman was taken but the baby was left floating in the air. There was also a golden Gyaos in one of my dreams, I think the same one. It was kinda fat. Luckily I out grew my Gyaos nightmares and they didn't hppen often anyways. You people who have had Godzilla dreams are lucky.

I had a Godzilla NIGHTMARE!!!! *DUN DUN DUN* It may sound unbelievable, but its true.

So basically, i was in the theater, buying a popcorn bag. However these popcorn bags where almost as tall as myself(Cant complain about that) and then i went into the theater to watch the movie. My buddy, whom im actually going to see this film with, was sitting waiting. And then the commercials started. AND THEY NEVER ENDED!

They just kept on and on for what felt like hours with commericals and trailers, heck at one point i thougth i was watching the climax to a really bad horror movie. I dont remember anyhting else, i think it just kinda ended like that.

It wasn't so much of about godzilla himself. But instead it was A dream that I had interviewed Gareth and his ambitions for the movie. The answers he provided were so bloody believable. In the end I was all cheery I interviewed him. We went out to lunch after and talked about his career as a director.

It was amazing, and very dissapointing when I woke up realizing it wasn't true.

No Godzilla, but the other night I dreamt that I was watching a Transformers movie w/ Chris Evans as Optimus Prime. That was weird.

I had one about two weeks ago and it tied weirdly into my life. Ok so I was at my house watching tv and all of a sudden zombies Broke into my house I managed to kill one of them with a lamp but had to run because of the amount of zombies. I hid in my closet and heard a big skreaching sound. I opened the closet door and saw a huge hole in my wall and dead zombies all around. The hole was glowing like a fire had been lit but put out. So I walked up to the hole and peeked out just to see huge footsteps prints in the yard. I was curious and started to follow them. Except instead of getting in a car I got on a snow board with wheels on it that looked poorly made. Ok so i got to where th footsteps end to find godzilla in the middle of a field eating a barn. The only weird thing is that godzilla was purple like Barney. Any way all of a suddon my golden retriever dog ran at godzilla and bit his foot, that must have made him angrey so he shot him with his atomic breath killing him. I screamed in anger and ran at godzilla with a knife, then my dream ended.     The crazy thing is that two days later my dog died we don't know how because no one was home when he died. So did godzilla kill my dog Toby?

@Agressivekaiju45, your dream is quite amazing but if Godzilla took the baby, it's because he's the last of his kind and he suffers from loneliness so he wants a companion sometimes. It's just my theory.

I once had a godzilla dream, though its not about the new movie, it is quite an experience. The only thing I remember was that I was in a tunnel, resembled the tunnel from Godzilla 1998. I saw the tail of godzilla being dragged away by his might and suddenly I was in a abandoned building with random survivors and then I looked through the window and witnessed the aftermath. Far away, I see godzilla rising from the rubble, he roared and then the dream ends.

It's kind of creepy that you asked this question today, but I literally had a dream about it just last night.

I can't describe it very well because my mind cannot recall all of the detaila, but for some reason I had really strange dreams about Godzilla fighting the Hokmuto, Godzilla swimming through the waters fighting a Megaguirus type creature. Godzilla underwater fighting with and ripping in half some kind of smaller alligator/fish type thing that I can't even describe. Godzilla interacting with a child and seemingly understanding her.

Really strange stuff, but all of it was with the G-2014 design.

So wierd... I'M GOING CRAZY!!!

Here's a Godzilla dream that I had months ago:

"I'm in the living room watching the TV. On the TV screen I can see a destroyed city covered by the lighting of a sunset. The color palette is dominated by orange, brown, black, and yellow. The city looks like it has been abandoned, it looks like Metropolis on Man of Steel after Kal's fight with Zod. I can't see a single human or living being on the streets until a giant centipede-like creature comes from behind of a building (it's the creature from the 2012 leaked comic con footage), it walks over what is left of the streets, there's debris falling from buildings and the imposing creature just keeps walking "towards the camera" while crushing any vehicles left on the street. The special effects are spectacular and look very stylized. Then Godzilla's foot appears in front of the screen, another camera angle reveals how he's preparing to face the "giant centipede", both creatures collide in an epic and violent fight, they crush buildings, at some point during the fight Godzilla uses his atomic breath (which is blue) and ravages a entire blocks of the city with it. The sequence is spectacular, has epic camera angles and is extremely loud: I can hear the creatures roaring while they crush buildings as they keep going on a very physical fight.

After I've watched the movie I'm talking with someone (probably one of my cousins or my brother, I don't know), during the conversation I learn that this Godzilla movie was released in 2014, but turns out that it was a flop, it divided fans (sort of like Final Wars did) and had a very similar reception to that of Man of Steel (about 50% on Rotten Tomatoes) meaning that it was praised by its action sequences but it was panned by the development of the story. Finally during that same conversation, I get to know that, despite being a flop, there's another reebot in production to be released either on 2015 and 2016. The dream sequence ends with me holding a Godzilla 2014 Steelbook DVD on my hands as I watch it while thinking how awesome it is and how much I love this movie despite it being a controversial one".

Yeah, I think most of my dream was related to my worries about the success of the movie on both, box office and reception. The fighting scenes I saw were freaking epic! Damn! The scale of the monsters, and the fights, was so f*cking sick! And they looked so real!

Yeah I have had two dreams. I can't recall the first one, but I know the second one.

I was in the line getting some popcorn, and then Buddy from Cake Boss I seriously don't know) wanted be to get fondant for his pasta cake. I refused because I wanted to watch Godzilla! He kept wanting me to go, but then Akira Takarada shooed him off and we both watched it together!

The begining of the movie was Ford Brody on a battleship in a storm, along with Elle Brody. Elle goes overboard and is eaten by something. I woke up before I could see what it was.

One time, I had a dream, quite a differet dream int tone to others I've usually had:

I was in a city on the west coast, watching as the water from the beach rose into a tidal wave. However, it was no ordinary wave, as it stood at over five times the height of the average 400-foot tall buildings. A vague, dark shape could be made out within them enormous wave, as though it were standing up, yet speeding into the city in a manner similar to water-skiing through the streets. Wherever the water touched, the buildings would crumble, especially at the base of the dark figure. When the enormous surf had finally come to a halt, all the buildings where either completely or partially submerged if they hadn't completely collapsed, and standing in the middle, water pouring from its enormous body, an 800-meter tall figure soon came into my view from a mountain area close by, utterly dwarfing everything else around it. It had pure red eyes, and roared so loud that the buildings around it fell down. It was the beast. A force greater than nature.

After seeing him look at me, I awoke, in a cold sweat and breathing heavily, having experienced my life flash before me just before awakening. I kid all of you not, I felt afraid, moreso than any other time. And trust me guys, this is coming from a guy who regularly has dreams where dolls come to life with evil glares on a regular basis.

The only Godzilla dreams i've had is me being stuck in a a large building and the G-man wandering around it. Every time I would get close to a window he would look right at me and then hit the building! So I would try and make to ground level without him seeing me. Once I got down it was like he was looking for just me! Destroying everything in his path to get to me! Such a heartpounding dream. Never got to the point where he got me though. He would end up being side tracked by the army or another kaiju or some kinda wierd alien cyborg that looked something like him. I only had one dream where he seemed nice to humans but don't remember much of that one :D

I've probably had three or four dreams about seeing the movie, but I cant really remember much of most of them.  The forst on I had was really strange, because I actually saw it on TV BEFORE it was released in theaters. :/ I remember being really confused as to why I could watch it on TV months before May, an then being really dissapointed because the film was really underwhelming.  I vaguely remember having another dream where Godzilla was human sized for much of the film (?!?!), but I woke up before I could watch the whole thing.  I don't remember that version being that bad, though!

I had one where I was standing inbetween two apratment high rises that were on the edge of a river. Godzilla's spikes started to come out of the water and a huge gust of wind came out of nowhere. I went back inside and found that the wind had blown th tail off of my giant sized Godzilla somehow.
