Ohhhh.....just look at him, he's perfect. I'm so proud. I'm welling up, somebody hand me a tissue he's BOOTIFUL!!.....
Haha, overboard, but I just thought Id get my thoughts across in as simple a way as possible. His design is stunning, my excitement levels just went from dangerous to the point at which I might become the nuclear bombs that are used to try kill him hehehe
Thanks guys.
The poster was $7.99 for those of you that plan on purchasing it.
@DANZILLA93 fye is a video store you mostly find it malls, but it is an acronym for "for your entertainment" Here's there website: http://www.fye.com/
You can't buy the poster here, but you can look up store locations.
Ugh...go suck a lemon COCKZILLA and really, what kind of username is that. Some people.
He is right. Poster is teriible. Looks almost like some photosop fan-art. Wrong proportions, size. Neck is connected to the torso gust with wrong propotions and side. Cheesy low quality effects and airport. And NO tail and NO spikes. LOL. I'm so wondering - how can you say about this what it's amazing?
He's kind of right. It a pretty tacky poster compared to the theatrical ones: All that neon coloring and overdramatic lightening. And they do copy and paste that Godzilla head on to anything they can...
Not something I'm rushing out the door to buy. It's good for the younger kids I suppose, but I'd prefer one of the theatrical posters.
Oh god....people I'm so sorry that wasn't even me...it was like frape but on this site. My best friend who does not appreciate godzilla and likes to have a laugh got on this site as me and posted a load of random and rude posts. Sorry again
In all seriousness though. I hope this happens to be just a bootleg poster and legendary bust these guys. Shoddy posters kinda ruin a movie for non-fans and we don't want that of course. :p
@Cockzilla,
It's real. It's just a typical, mass production, assembly image slapped together in a sloppy photoshop fashion and used on all sorts of merchandise, toys, walls scrolls...etc...etc... It looks awful because it's cheap and calculated. All sorts of marketing subsidiaries make cheap images like this to slap on related products. Look at this:
All of these images are as fugly as all hell, but none of them were official, theatrical posters. The images on these posters, including the Godzilla poster we're speaking of, were meant to be put on products: Toys, cups, pens, t-shirts, promotional ads...etc... They just ended up making posters out of these cheap images because kids buy them and it makes studios more money. That's exactly what this new Godzilla poster is. A product image blown up to be a poster so kids will buy it. Happens all the time.
