The stuff is available for preorder now. Most of the Bandai and JAKKS stuff will be in toy stores. The NECA figures... I'm not sure. S.H. Monsterart figures will very much not be available in stores. You should see this stuff start to fill shelves this week.

I got up at 7:30 to storm Toys R Us and get anything I could find!  Unfortunately Toys R Us didn't open until 10:00. :P But it was worth it.  I got there JUST before the workers opened the boxes to set them out!  A nice lady gave me the three boxes, straight out of the warehouse, and told me to pick out what I wanted!  I got the Atomic Roar Godzilla, the Smash-Strike and Tail-Strike Godzillas, and the Destruction City!!!!  I cleaned them out! :D I hope they get the Jakks Pacific toy soon!

Oh, and has anybody noticed that today is the 41st Anniversary of Godzilla vs Megalon?  It was reeased today in 1973! :)

U know, on toysrus.com, and i know this picture is only to represent the Jakks pacific figure, cuz the price and description matches, but im asking that if you know if this is another official figure cuz ID PREFER THIS ONE MORE THAN ALL THE OTHER FIGURES OF GODZILLA RIGHT NOW ;D

I think it's the NECA figure before the made it more poseable but I could be wrong.

Those blue Godzilla pieces were confirmed fake a long time ago. It's not the same thing. Unless the picture you posted above is a fake as well-- unlikely though.

Am I the only one absolutely hating the way godzilla look on that coverart for the book? I'm all for bearzilla, but god... those jows.

I'm Godzilla fan from the UK here. Is there anyone from the UK that's been to Toys R US over here and noticed any merchandise being sold, just wondering whether its worth my time or not. Does anyone know whether the likes of Bandai or NECA distribute across the pond?

Guys, does anyone know if Bandai will make classic-style 6 inch vinyl figures, too?

Does the 24 inch Neca Godzilla come non-painted and I have to paint myself or will it already come painted?

I honestly dislike the design on the book cover too.

It looks too spikey around the head and the snout seems short. Good thing the actual design will be fixing these problems.

Talking about the design, this Godzilla seems like all previous Godzilla's combined. Bulk and strength of Heisei, G200 posture, Squarish head like Godzilla Jr, (i don't ever use GINO as an example) brows of MegaroGoji and G1985.

Best Price I found, and just ordered from, for the NECA 24" poseable Godzilla with sound is 47.99 at Entertainment Earth. Beware of the eBay sellers asking for upwards of 100 bucks!   

I'm happy with the sculpt. The new bandai's just aren't doin it for me. NECA it is.
