Godzilla 2014 New Monster Theory

Okay so lately I've been thinking.. Bare with me here it is a theory, a very quite possible theory that I can see happening. The movie "Cloverfield" was influenced by the legacy that Godzilla has made for himself. The new monster is speculated to be an insect type, correct? What if Legendary has gain rights to use the cloverfield monster in the new Godzilla movie. Yeah, I know Cloverfield was based in New York, and the new Godzilla from the trailers seems to be on the west coast. The Cloverfield monster was never killed in the movie as they planned a sequal. Godzilla has fought monsters from other movies before. To see it happen again would be no shock to not only myself but I'm sure a bunch of Godzilla fans.

by now I'm sure you see where I'm getting at. Now the next image below, you can somewhat see the resemblance but the shot isn't too clear consider you can only see a portion of the bottom of the creature, this image was taken from a Godzilla 2014 teaser

I don't know about you guys, but if this theory proves to be true, I will be that much more excited to see this film. What do you guys think?

the first time i heard about this movie, that was the theory i had. i thoght the cloverfield monster was going to fight godzilla in the movie and also thought the muto were the cloverfield monster.

@ Mikezilla15, it's good to see younger fans of Godzilla. Don't worry about what other people say, if you have an opinion on something, feel free to post it. It's OK to debate and people will learn to respect your opinion whether it makes sense to them or not. Regardless, seeing younger fans brings a smile to my face.

I'd be pretty disappointed if the Cloverfield monster appeared in this move. I know it won't ever happen and thank god for that

I dont see this whole thing happening.. And even if they did get the rights to use Clover in the new movie, why has there been nothing even hinting twords him? Nothing in the trailers, nothing in the reveil that came with the toys. And quite honestly, I don't think it would be a good idea at all.

Death? The destroyer of worlds? Ha! You should see my teacher when I forget an assignment!
