Thanks a bunch to JGar for pointing this out! At the Lucca Comics & Games there was indeed an event involving Godzilla. They premiere "The Prisoners" at the event and beforehand they revealed actual scenes from Godzilla. This is a link to the post that confirms this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151950290920932&set=a.211212860931.171850.189744410931&type=1&theater The post shows a picture of the Godzilla poster with an actual date and says this (translated to English from Italian): # WarnerLucca-The audience at the Lucca Comics & Games Movie is going to attend the premiere of # PrisonersFilm. Before the film, there will be a screening of some scenes of Godzilla, The LEGO Movie and 300: Dawn Of An Empire: http://goo.gl/tZ1ADy. So this being said, if what they showed is a new trailer, then they could be testing out a trailer for the public. Hopefully someone who went can describe what they saw. This could be either very good news, or the same old shit we've seen a million times before where they show exclusive shit to special people. Now I would ask what you guys think, but after so many posts I'm going to revise it to better fit you guys. Why is it not a big deal and why shouldn't we not get excited in anyway? Go ahead.

Maybe it,s true that WB is testing out the new Godzilla trailer just too see if it,s right like no mistakes too it over all i hope the first trailer comes out on Nov 3

I agree with you xxsaberblackcrow, this is the final check on the the trailer before release. I recall the Cloverfield movie (I know, Abrams didn't know how to make a true monster movie) trailer they modified the Statue of Liberty head because people thought it was the wrong size. Same 'trailer check' could be here

@**Al** LOL You do know what a trailer is right? Scenes from a movie edited in a quick 2 minute or less video to advertise the movie and grab the attention of the audience to see the full film. I can't believe I have to even define it. XD

Just because they're showing stuff... It doesn't mean that it will be released to the public anytime soon. Hell, it took a year and a half for the 2012 test footage alone to find its way onto the internet, and it didn't even last a week until Warner Bros and Legendary took it down. The second leak, the WIP trailer? Within hours. Preorder toy details, for christ's sake, less than a day. If anything is leaked from that place, it won't last a day before being pulled off the internet.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! GUISE! GUISE! Guess what!? :D Italy is gonna get to see clips of the new Godzilla movie before the rest of the world who has been anxiously awaiting, years even! YAAAAY GO ITALY! I HOPE YOU LEAK THE SHIT OUT OF THAT GODZILLA PREVIEW THINGY! WOOOH Is that better? I honestly tried. Excitement is not really my thing. Hasn't been for... Nearly five years to the day... But let's not talk about me! Let's talk about something that's not depressing as all hell. The trailer? I don't think they're going to see it. They might. But what they're probably going to see, in terms of video clips, are probably a few scenes of post destruction, maybe a scene or two with the Mutos. But I wouldn't bet on them actually seeing the finalized Godzilla design. That's going to be kept under wraps until the movie is released, if WB and Legendary are smart.

You know like maybe five minutes after Godzilla or the Mutos destroy a city. Hell, they might even get to see some dialogue between the characters. See that supposed "character development" in action. Hell, I hope so. I really do. I just can't pretend to be excited. I really have tried to be excited. I'm hopeful, but not excited enough to make a big deal out of a trailer or some videos. I'm sorry. I truly am. I'm probably going to stay off this site for awhile. You really don't need my negativity, no matter how realistic it may be.. You really don't need to be bummed out either. So this is my final post. For this month. Maybe I'll come back in December. Hell, I'll still read posts from time to time, but I'm not gonna put my two cents in. Stay positive, everyone. I hope you get your trailer, and leaked videos. Put them on a file sharing website before it's too late so people can download it even after it's been pulled. Jesus, I can't believe I just typed all of that. Sounds even more stupid reading it than it did when I was thinking it. Oh well. Later.

After all the things that have been shown at conventions but never see the light of day to the general public I don't expect this to be any different. Highly doubt they will get a real trailer, maybe if they're lucky the 2013 comic con teaser but that won't be released to the public anytime soon.

@GMAN2887 This event was SUPER under the radar. We're just lucky that JGAR pointed this out otherwise none of us would've ever known, with the event being all day I doubt anyone would talk till tomorrow. Plus another thing I found interesting was that a new trailer for the LEGO movie was released just now today and 1 of the 3 movies previewed before "The Prisoners" was the LEGO movie alongside the 300 prequel and Godzilla. If a new 300 prequel trailer comes out tomorrow, we could be looking at a schedule of releasing a new trailer a day from the event with a Godzilla trailer coming out on Sunday aka Nov. 3rd. A guy can hope can't he? @DURP004 Yeah but Comic Con was a whole year away from Godzilla, so other than fan complaints there was no real reason business or advertisement wise that a trailer should be released. With the movie nearly 6 months away, it's do or die for his movie's advertising. Meaning if you'll notice, pretty much every blockbuster film releases a trailer at least 6 months away from the release date, especially with such huge financial successes like Thor 2 and the Hobbit 2 so near. If Thor 2 doesn't have the trailer, the Hobbit will.

@InstinctiveGigan This event is one of the world's largest entertainment conventions. Just because it was spotted at last minute on a facebook page does not mean it was "super" under the radar. Reports come in just as fast as they did with Comic Con and the early reports that it's just the Oppenheimer trailer that we've already seen sound fairly realistic. There's also a lot of ifs there. If 300 gets a trailer tomorrow? If they release a trailer a day? Unlikely. Hope? Sure. But I wouldn't get them too high. I maintain you will see nothing new related to [i]Godzilla[/i] on Sunday.

@GMAN2887 Lol Okay so it was super under the radar for me. Oopsy Daisy. Even if we don't get a trailer on the 3rd well definitely get something. The way the companies' been marketing Godzills like the Encounter there's no doubt they'll give us something for his birthday. A trailer? Maybe not. Something? Definitely.

The trailer should be shown about a month before the movie. Which will be spring of 2014. That trailer will show a shadow of Godzilla walking by and the actors looking up at him. They need to leave the suspense of Godzilla looks for our imagine nation.

I don't trust WB to release anything tomorrow. Always hope for he best. And always expect the worse. That's the only way to go about it I think. If the Hobbit doesn't have it, than no matter what WB my claim, this movie will be well behind the 8ball as far as promoting goes. I just don't believe in WB.

Again, that's neither here nor there, Lucca is a massive convention that's been going for decades. Just because you've never heard of it does not diminish its importance.

@INSTINCTIVEGIGAN thanks for the heads up on possibly a trailer to be released soon and for helping out with GMAN2887 on getting to the bottom line that godzilla will have his atomic breath attack like chris picard said you both get a credit but any way tomorrow which is NOVEMBER 3RD we may or may not get a trailer but if we do and i dont get to see it will you please save it and email it to me my email address will be told when i get in touch with you again

Guys they will release a trailer on Sunday didn't you herd about the Nov 3 news the trailer is ready like there done with it so now there going to release it even if we don't get the trailer on Sunday we still got the 2 teasers that we saw so my guess is i hope they release it on Sunday.
