UPDATE 7/3/2022:
Eiga Ranking reports the 8th weekends estimates total at 4.164 Billion Yen--Higher than expected. It has surpassed the attendance of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2.77 million) with an estimated 2.79 million. It will surpass it in gross tomorrow.
The question it does it have 200,000+ more in it to hit 3 million?

UPDATE 6/28/2022:
Actuals report Shin Ultraman finished the 7th weekend with 4.03 Billion Yen. ($31.1 Million) Despite four new releases this past weekend it only fell from #3 to #4. Box Office attendance came to 2.70 Million tying Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. (World of KJ and Kogyotsushin) It's unlikely to hit Return of Godzilla's 3.20 million, but 3 million attendance is still not out of the question.
Next week it will top Spider-Man: No Way Home to become a top 5 film of 2022. Although it likely won't stay there, nothing indicates it will fall out of one of the top 10 highest grossing of 2022. It's still on track to finish with an exceptional 4.3-4.4 Billion Yen.

If it was like 1954-2022 he could survive being in space as seen in the 1965 film, Invasion Of Astro Monster when G-Man was fighting Ghidorah.

Estimates from Eiga Ranking News report Shin Ultraman pushed passed the 4 Billion Yen mark in its 7th weekend! The benchmark puts the attendance slightly above my initial prediction with 2.69 million. It will hit or surpass Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah's attendance tomorrow. It still may barely miss the 3 million attendance, but that depends on the holds for the next 5 weeks.
Actuals will be released either tomorrow or Tuesday.
No unfortunately there are no official LEGO Godzilla sets.

Actuals confirm a slight uptick for Shin Ultraman's 6th weekend. (World of KJ and Kogyotsushin) The film maintained its spot at #3 for the third weekend in a row. At 3.84 Billion Yen this week's exchange rate brings it to $29.7 Million. At 2.57 million attendance, Shin Ultraman is expected to finish around 4.3-4.4 Billion Yen--Perhaps just shy of 3 million admissions.

Early weekend 6 estimates from Eiga Ranking News put Shin Ultraman's total at 3.832 Billion Yen. ($28.4 Million) That attendance reaches an estimated 2.57 million, blowing well past both Son of Godzilla and Destroy All Monsters.
At this point I think Shin Ultraman only has one more prominent kaiju title it can feasibly top. It can pass the Heisei series savior, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah's 2.70 million attendance. (And will.) But I think it will be shy of Return of Godzilla's 3.20 million. It might hit 3 million, but it will be quite the crawl.
Either way this is a massive win for Tsuburaya Productions and easily the most successful piece of Ultraman media.
