AdminSpaceGodzillaJan-18-2017 1:14 PMHahaha Yeah, same with Godzilla's posters. The size / scale is obviously not accurate.

First of all, it's not the "Peter Jackson" version, it's the TRADITIONAL version, King Kong isn't complete without the "Beauty & The Beast" element, it's pretty much a tradition at this point. Toho's Kong was something entirely different, but they still incorporated those elements in, don't see why Legendary can't do the same.
Second, no, there's no more than "one ape", Kong, in every version, has always been written as the last of his kind, this isn't any different.
Just saying.

MemberBaragonJan-19-2017 5:08 AMI fully expect to start seeing more marketing for this, especially around the football conference championships this weekend as well as the Super Bowl. They do need to let the general audience know this is coming.

MemberBaragonJan-19-2017 8:27 AMEven though the filmmakers are supposedly trying to avoid the "Beauty and the Beast" storyline, the first banner as well as the trailer seem to indicate that Kong will at least have some sort of bond with Brie Larsen's character in the film. Given that Kong having some sort of attraction or bond with a human woman has been a trait he's exhibited in every single film he's appeared in so far, it makes sense.
