This is very telling if you know a bit about religious art. the first kong is On the left side of the painting and is partially shrouded in shadow with three figures behind him. Godzilla is both in on the right side and is in the light with 4 figures standing on something behind him. Next, if you look at the middle of the painting all the humans are running away from Kong towards the floating humans. However, two humans are seen to be directing the fleeing people towards the floating thing.
In religious art like the creation of Adam God who is good is on the right side of the panting well Adam who is human who eventually sins is on the left. The ‘bad guy’ is on the left like in Orochi and Susano, well the hero, good guy, god is always on the right, for they are always in the right.
This tells me Kong is the bad guy, and when you think about it Kong has both PTSD and some social developmental issues so he would not take kindly to other titans converging on skull island for any reason. I get the feeling the titans are converging onto skull island because of something from the time Of the Hollow earth kingdoms has been found and awakened, something that was meant to stay buried.
