2014 American Godzilla vs Tresspasser Kaiju

TRUE AMERICAN GODZILLA - I'd have to say Godzilla would be the winner of that particular exchange - even if they were both their actual documented height of 300 to 350ft. In my opinion, Godzilla is far more agile and resilient than the Trespasser - having been able to withstand nuclear warheads and a pair of very angry MUTOs pounding away at him relentlessly! To that end, I say that Godzilla would maul the Trespasser in short order. :)

Pretty much every single response I have to Pacific Rim vs. Godzilla will be used here:

The Pacific Rim kaiju are hilariously outclassed by Godzilla. And Trespasser specifically is a good case of that. He was taken down by military weaponry (pre-Jaegers) in a few days; Godzilla was pelted with several megaton nukes in the span of weeks/months with no visible scars.

The basic rule of Godzilla = Only monsters relative to his strength can harm him (example: Mutos). Meanwhile, Pacific Rim monsters can be taken down by giant man-made robots. The Mutos could take down Trespasser.

If y'all read it, you'd have seen that it took three 10 kilton nukes to kill Tresspasser. Those are a lot beefier than the nukes used on Godzilla.

You're kidding right? 1000 kilotons is one megaton. Meaning it took 30 kilotons to kill Trespasser, which is 0.03 times less destructive than a single megaton. Godzilla survived the Castle Bravo nuke which is 15 megatons or 15,000 kilotons, and not only surviving it, it probably didn't do much since he barely has a scratch from it.

Just goes to show how weak the kaiju from Pacific Rim are compared to Godzilla.

@INSTINCTIVEGIGAN: That's right pal, even though Pacifc Rim had some cool looking monsters, they were pretty weak in comparison to Godzilla. Even Slattern, Pacific Rim's toughest Kaiju, was wounded after being hit by a 1.2 Megaton Nuke and she's a category 5 Kaiju. Godzilla's Category Status would overload the computers.

TRUE AMERICAN GODZILLA - I believe you're quite right; Godzilla would very likely crush Slattern in a one-on-one battle. That being said, Slattern might inflict a little harm upon Godzilla by virtue of her size and strength. I doubt the injuries she could inflict would be substantial, but she might be able to draw blood. I very much enjoy this topic - it's quite fun! Thank you for starting it! :)

    I've a question to pose: do you believe Raiju (CAT. 4), Scunner (CAT. 4) and Slattern (CAT. 5) might have a chance at giving Godzilla a hard time if they were to take him on together? I've a feeling they might ring his bell a bit, but he'd likely wipe them out after a protracted battle. :)

@SOMETHING REAL: Good Question, yes I do think those three would give Godzilla a hard time until Godzilla gets the upper hand.. er claw or talon.

godzilla will always win, the pacific rim kaiju were weak compared to the monsters in the new godzilla film, both the mutos and godzilla were more than capable of handling missle attacks where as the kaiju in pacific rim did not.
