My idea is a alien that came from a meteorite that killed all the dinosaurs and living cells came from it and evolved undetected. In secret, the animal became multicellur on a island near Japan and the radiation from the bombing in World War 2 slowly advaned and rapidly increased the rate of evolution until the species became cannibals until there was only one left which is King Ghidora. Running out of food, the king of all Ghidoras decided to leave the island and it grew wings thank to rapid evolution and it flew off to the Americas. The radiation sent out a signal that cloaks the creature from sattelites and also gives it a radiation beam in the shape of lightning. It decides to attack radiation plants but accidently spills the radiation and ruins the area of the nuclear plant. This wakes up Godzilla and then they have a fight.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-21-2014 8:27 PMThat's still not 'realism' to be honest. Basic studies of the reality surrounding how nuclear energy and radiation function and their effects on the environment will explain why.
Anyway, there will not be a King Ghidorah in the new franchise, however if the movie does well enough and Toho asks or encourages Legendary to actually "remake" one of the old films featuring Ghidorah, then I'll want him to keep his origins.
Part of the charm of Ghidorah being an alien was that we didn't need an explanation of his origin or how he came to be. The fact that he was an alien that was badass was more than enough. His ass-kickery in the Showa series and the Heisei series didn't need the whole futurian thing to be honest, and even though it kind of worked for Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah in the early 90's, it was unnecessary.
So all in all, I think that the whole concept of King Ghidorah as a three headed Dragon from space doens't need adjusting or be drawn into the 'realism' part of it. Making him look realistic, as far as anatomics are concerned, is more important than giving him a believable origin. If he must have one: Alien from space. Period. It's more than enough, even by today's standards.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-21-2014 8:45 PMI know but with the whole M.U.T.O. thing i saw a way to find a crossing between the real part of the new age of Godzilla and the old fashion monsters of aliens and mutants.
