Godzilla 2 King of the Monsters is still over 540 days away, but already fans have begun creating and sharing some phenomenal artwork inspired by the upcoming Destroy all Monsters style sequel. As we know the film will feature and introduce us to Monsterverse versions of Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah. Cave paintings spotted in the Kong: Skull Island post-credits scene, along with some subtle viral marketing by Legendary have given us somewhat of an idea as to what the Monsters will look like, but currently no official concept art or images of the Monsters exist online. However, that hasn't stopped fans from putting their own spins on the updated Hollywood versions of these iconic Toho Monsters.
One fan, named Ryan Monsod created the following pieces, inspired by the upcoming Godzilla movie sequel and they definitely caught our attention. Below are his own versions of Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah and... Varan? (Varan is not a confirmed Monster for Godzilla: King of the Monsters but still neat to see him included in this list) The piece is entitled "Godzilla and Friends", but by no means are these Monsters going to be acting very friendly on-screen, come March 2019. Check out Ryan's work below and be sure to let us know what you think of his versions of these Monsters in the comments section!
